Great family Movie! - klyj
I thought this movie was a good all around movie. Good for kids and adults. It was quite comical, a little far fetched at time for the kids but still good for a laugh. Not overly realistic, nobody would have that many children, however....if youre looking for a smile it definately worth taking a look at.Fair Movie; Could Have Been Better - TheShamus
I am usually a Steve Martin fan. This time around, Martin plays the father of 12 kids ... ranging from very young to late teens. They live happily in a small town. When a decision is made by the parents to pursue a better (more demanding) career, things get out of hand. Something has to give.
As two intelligent parents, the idea of hiring a nanny, or a babysitter (or maybe two babysitters) never seems to cross their mind. As a father of two little ones, the thought of being parent to 12 seems more like "science fiction".
If you can bring yourself to enjoy this movie as a fictional, light-hearted comedy, I would recommend it. This works as a movie the whole family can watch.

i walked into this movie believing it was going to be all about hilary duff. in fact i couldn't be anymore wrong this movie shows family values and real life sacrafices when you have a family.
steve martin is at the top of his game i haven't seen him this funny since parenthood.
the formula is simalar but there are twist and turns throughout the whole movie. i give it A+ for effort. besides you know its a fabulous movie when you get emotional at the end.
