Dracula 2000
The Most Seductive Evil of All Time Has Now Been Unleashed In Ours!
The master of modern horror, Wes Craven, presents this riveting adaptation featuring Jennifer Esposito (Summer of Sam), Omar Epps (In Too Deep), Jonny Lee Miller (Trainspotting), Vitamin C (Get Over It) and Jeri Ryan (Star Trek: Voyager)! When a team of techno-savvy thieves break into a high-security vault, they don't discover priceless works of art... they find a crypt unopened for 100 years! Suddenly, the ancient terror of Dracula is unleashed, and his first destination is America and the exotic city of New Orleans - a place where he feels right at home. Not far behind, however, is a vampire hunter (Miller) from London determined to save a young woman (Justine Waddell) with whom Dracula shares his dark legacy!

I have seen and loved a lot of vampire films -- they are one of my favourite genres. This movie seems like it could have used a bigger budget, although Jennifer Esposito is her usual beautiful and cool self, a gorgous woman with an impossibly beautiful face. I just with she did SF/action/horror films, my three favourite types. Alas she did some films in the contemporay genre. Sigh...A great vampire flick - Starcat
I'm very picky about my vampire films as there are so many that are poorly done. This one however, I really enjoyed. The characters were good and the twist on the story was very very interesting. I thought storyline was brought together very well. I don't always like Wes Craven films but this one surprised me. It's one of my fav's now.Not as bad as you'd think! - King_Ghidorah
This movie was much better than i had thought it would be. It's rated pretty low by most people, but I actually enjoyed it. There is some cheeze, omar epps being biggest offender. His scenes we're pretty lame. The rest of the acting for the most part was well done, especially Gerard Butler as Dracula. Enjoyable story, especially the origin of dracula. Decent effects and a few good deaths scenes. I'd give it about a 7/10
