Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn
Kiss Your Nerves Good-Bye!
Ash, the sole survivor of The Evil Dead, returns to the same isolated cabin deep in the woods with his girlfriend, Linda. The two discover a mysterious tape recorder and hear the voice of Professor Knoby reciting passages from the Necronomicon, or Book of the Dead. Little do they know that the professor's words are powerful enough to invoke a spell that unleashes the spirit of evil alive in the remote forest surrounding them.

I love Bruce campbell movies. I personally feel that director Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell realized what they started with The Evil Dead but didn't quite hit the mark with Evil Dead II, Dead by Dawn.
It did have some funny parts and some classic lines from Bruce campbell who returns as the same character, Ash, in the Evil Dead II but his characters role doesn't seem to follow up with the original storyline. The story line in Evil Dead II as moves along very quickly and wasn't well done. All that being said it's still good for a great laugh and leads to another great movie, Evil Dead III, Army of Darkness.
*FYI*
I just read on IMDb that Evil Dead IV is in development.
*FYI*Lots of fun! - MikeLynn
I didn't know this was going to be a remake going in, but that didn't detract from my enjoyment of the film. It's really funny, sometimes creepy, and generally an excellent and thoroughly enjoyable update of the original Evil Dead. I also didn't know that Army of Darkness was a sequel to Evil Dead II. I'll definitely have to watch that again. I would highly recommend this movie to anyone who appreciates a good comedy/horror movie.Evil Dead 2 still has it - Buffy
Keeping up with the first Evil dead this sequel starts off exactly where the last left off! It keeps its creepy feel and continues on in the same cabin where it all started...I would definetley say that I prefer the sequel just because the makeup and effects seemed more realistic and attractive You must rent it if you are a horror movie fan!
