A real surprise!! - OkaZoo
This movie was not one of my personal picks it was chosen by my spouse.
I must admit though being pleasantly surprised by how good this film turned out to be.
I can't say that I personally appreciate Roy Scheider that much as an actor but he definitely did well in this film.
There was a certain amount of intrigue and a few twists and interesting turns. I have to say that going in I was not enthusiastic that it was going to be a good movie but it turned out to be quite a well written well rounded tale.
It's definitely the type of movie that we've seen before the man on death row who's innocent and someone unexpectedly comes in to find out new information which will prove that. It was definitely not original in it's idea but the story was well told and entertaining.
It would not be at the top of my list of recommendations for this type of movie theme but it did quite well for itself.
It was pretty reasonable not time really well spent but as I said entertaining and if that's what you want then this movie could be for you...
