Secret Window
Academy Award nominee Johnny Depp (2003 Best Actor, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl) gives his most riveting performance in this action/suspense thriller featuring a top-notch cast including John Turturro, Maria Bello, Academy Award® winner Timothy Hutton (1981 Best Supporting Actor, Ordinary People) and Charles S. Dutton. Following a bitter separation from his wife (Bello), famed mystery writer Mort Rainey (Depp) is unexpectedly confronted at his remote lake house by a dangerous stranger named John Shooter (Turturro). Claiming Rainey has plagiarized his short story, the psychotic Shooter demands justice. When Shooter's demands turn to threats - and then murder - Rainey turns to a private detective (Hutton) for help. But when nothing stops the horror from spiraling out of control, Rainey soon discovers he can't trust anyone or anything. A shocking psychological thriller from the writer of Panic Room, David Koepp.

This story is well done from the start and well acting from Johnny helped a lot to flow this story. It was interesting to see how psycologically affected your daily life and more. This was great title for this movie as well. You don't want to miss his great acting!!!Johnny Steals the Show Again - Yoday
Although there are a few moments of silliness towards the end of this movie, overall it is a suspenseful psychological thriller. Johnny Depps's performance is utterly captivating and kept me glued to the screen. He brings a twisted sense of humour to the role and cracked me up a few times with his delivery of biting wit. The story is compelling and the plot moves at a quick pace.not scary but engaging - koth
It is obvious by my rating that I really enjoyed the film. But I enjoyed it even more after seeing the supplemental materials, where Director Koepp talks about the significance of the mirrors and the other little gags.
Johnny Depp has recently become a born again star due to Pirates of the something or other. For me this was the movie that made me a fan.
I think the thing that really makes this movie for me is that we are dealing with a mad artist as opposed to the usual mad scientist. The right brain is far more interesting than the left -- especially when it's not working right.
The film is not terribly scary, but is exceptionally engaging. A must see for Depp fans.
