i dont know..ive seen way better. - YPlovesmovies
Maybe if I had seen this same year it came out, it would've been a little better, slightly more original, but after great other movies, including the Walking Dead show, this just doesnt compare.
I thought this was pretty empty and characters were just ok. It just didnt feel exciting for me. Most of it was predictable and expectable, and kinda lame. The only part I liked was was the fat lady dying and then coming back to "life" LOL that was pretty funny.
Also, the guy on a roof exchanging messages with the guy across the other roof was funny and added a humane touch to the whole movie.Great Zombie Flick - kav2001c
Film has a couple weak moments but overall is a great addition to the zombie horror genre. Very well made flick that has some genuine scary and outright weird moments. Acting all around is solid and script though minimal works.
Essentially a nurse goes home one evening and awakes the next morning to find a swarm of zombies running around eating (and infecting) people. She runs away and ends up in an odd group of survivors holed up in the local mall. With no way to fight their way out they await rescue, which may never be coming.Best horror remake - robbymcd
Dawn of the Dead (Original) remains one of my all time favorite horror movies. When the remake first hit the theaters I was extremely skeptical as there have been a few really bad remakes / sequels to some of my favorite movies. Horror and Dawn fans will both be pleasantly surprised with this extremely good remake.
