This movie seemed to have potential when I read about it. Guess I should have read the reviews of those who watched it previous. It was obvious right from the start what was going to happen. It definately didn't live up to it's potential, I wouldn't waste your time on this movie.

The "twist" in the plot was apparent almost from the start of the movie. The characters lacked emotional depth, and the story didn't flow. A great concept, but very poor delivery. Even Robert Deniro couldn't carry this. Very disappointing. The child (Adam) struggles with good and evil forces internally. It was very difficult for the viewer to see the transition from good to evil as the actor portrayed both in the same way.

Godsend is not! - Bang_Bang

No amount of oxygen is going to bring this movie back to life…oops did I give away the plot.

The premise is interesting. Unfortunately the premise cannot carry the movie.

The female lead, Rebecca Romijn-Stamos delivers a cardboard performance. The character by the way is the worst mom I’ve seen on film in a long time. I’m surprised the cloned kid is able to make it through the movie in one piece.

Distraught? She deserves to be distraught – leaving kid-one alone in the busy streets. Oops.

Greg Kinnear isn’t too bad but he is probably the dumbest dad I’ve seen on film in a long time. Had the cloned kid died, this dad would have earned the right to be called an accessory. He gets the Duh! in parenting reviews.

De Niro executes his part like a pizza cook over-dressed in business suits and trench coats. The closest he comes to looking like the pizza man he accidentally plays is when he does put on his white medical coat. Now that’s acting. He’s in and out of the movie much like my bank card at the local ATM. Too much.

And the Director wins the “And What Was the Director Thinking” award for the room they strap the “cloned-one” in. If you want to terrorize a kid, bring him/her to the room this Director picked. It was loony enough to nearly drive me into insanity.

Not worth wasting the postman’s carbs.
Best thing about this movie is the cover, and Rebecca’s jeans.
Since you don’t get the cover with your rental, and Rebecca is off-limits, why bother?
Bang Bang, it’s dead.
