A Nice Take - themagicrat
I first saw this film when I was a kid. My older cousin, for some reason, brought me to see this with her boyfriend. Looking at the film now it made absolutely no sense to bring an eight your old to this film, but I remember coming home and enjoying my time. I spent the rest of the night jumping around the living room like a monkey.
Having rented this film, I still appreciated it, but for different reasons. It is a story tellers film, not one of instant gratification. No Disney here. This won't please all but should please most.Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan - qtip
By far the best movie of Tarzan I have seen. Some small parts in the dialogue were missing at the end, but it was GREAT...I watched it two times in a row - great casting.
It shows the arrogance and cruelity of people who are "well bred", yet I guess it was in the name of progress. The "animal", Tarzan showed deep compassion, both for mankind and his creatures.
