3-Way
From fabled pulp novelist Gil Brewer's ("Wild to Possess") comes this sinfully tasty, hard-boiled brew of lust, extortion and murder, starring Gina Gershon (Borderline) and Dwight Yoakam (Panic Room). Lew (Dominic Purcell, Mission: Impossible II) is a smalltime loser with a very big secret. He's overheard a sordid little kidnapping plot worth a cool million and is cutting himself in for a big piece of the action. But when Lew shares his guilty knowledge with three extremely untrustworthy women - sexy gal pal Rita (Joy Bryant, Antwone Fisher), luscious abductress Isobel (Ali Larter, Final Destination 2) and sultry, well-heeled Florence (Gershon) - his blackmail scheme spins murderously out of control. The problem with secrets? No one can keep 'em.

This films has all the makings for a decent noirish thriller all the way through the first half of the film but somewhere after that it gets derailed. As the plot begins to get complicated the film thoroughly builds the viewer up for a let-down. The potential for a very meaningful (as in a testament to specific human natures) climax to the film is lost amidst unclear plot twists and fragments of an underlying subplot (the third "way" so to speak). Anyone who watches this film will easily see what I mean as they are drawn into the story and even enjoy it before being confused and let down in the last 20 minutes. Not to mention the sudden "Hollywood happy ending" that comes out of nowhere and without explanation.Three Way - Minooo
Not a good movie at all - totally disappointed in the rental - would not recommend it to anyone as I found it to be a total waste of a Zip movie. Lacked character, suspense, creativity, and everything else that goes together to make a movie at least somewhat interesting.close - movieaddict
I wanted to love this movie (noirish thrillers are my favorites)but couldn't. Too many flaws in the story, the dots don't connect. Fault, perhaps the directors, perhaps shortcomings in the script, whatever. The fault does not lay at the feet of the cast however, they are all superb.
