This was a good movie. It still is along with the trials of Nuremberg, but from a different aspect. It shows the lawyers and law makers who were responsible for some of the crimes unleashed on the Jews of Europe. This is a good movie if your into historical accounts of world war 2.

Judgment at Nuremberg tells the story of the trial that took place in that town after the Second world war. Prosecutors were putting on trial war criminals, but this movie tells a story that is not all black or all white. They try to put in perspective that some Germans that participated, to different degrees, in the atrocities of the Second world war were not all monsters.
This movie is a bit long, almost 3 hours, but the actors in it are first rate. Watching Spencer Tracy is a joy. When you watch him, you don't understand why so many actors use Botox these days. His face tells many things without having him say a word, actors should take a lesson from those old movies and ease up on Botox and plastic surgeries!Moving - FilmJunkie
Somewhat slow, but moving film about the trials at Nuremberg after the second World War. Spencer Tracy is older, but no less powerful as the prosecuting attorney and Montgomery Clift is unforgettable in a small role.
For me the magic scene is that of Judy Garland as a German woman on the stand explaining what happened in Nuremberg. She was at the peak of her deteriorating health and would only live eight more years, despite being only 39 when making this film she seems at least 50. But it works for the character and for my money she gives one of her best performances, it landed her an Oscar nod for Best Supporting Actress.
