Scooby-Doo
Zoinks!
Two years after a clash of egos forced Mystery Inc. to close its doors, Scooby-Doo and his clever crime-solving cohorts Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr.), Daphne (Sarah Michelle Gellar), Shaggy (Matthew Lillard) and Velma (Linda Cardellini) are individually summoned to Spooky Island to investigate a series of paranormal incidents at the ultra-hip Spring Break hot spot.
Concerned that his way cool theme park might truly be haunted, Spooky Island owner Emile Mondavarious (Rowan Atkinson) tries to reunite those notoriously meddling detectives to solve the mystery before his supernatural secret scares away the college crowds.
Scooby and the gang will have to overcome their personal differences and forget everything they think they know about fake ghouls and phony creatures to crack the case, save themselves and possibly... the world. Ruh-roh!

Cheesy, sleezy and just plain wrong.
Cartoon turned real life action movie has disected the core quality of its origin, and slaughtered everything that was funny about the food crazed great dane and his misfit friends.
It always boils my blood when someone in Hollywood cashes in on a classic childhood favorite all for the mighty dollar. In this case Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prince Jr. Production Company destroys everything pure and good about a 70's iconic Cartoon in just within 1 & 1/2 hours. I Suggest the sticking with the Cartoon instead (Call me old fashioned).Good but not available in Wide Screen? - M410
Why is the movie only available in 1.33:1 format? For a movie produced in 2002, this does not seem right.
The movie itself is good for kids. I don't know what it is about Scooby-Doo, but kids can't get enough of it!
We have to keep in mind that this is a kid's movie and we should not expect a complex story with deep character development, after all. :)What a bunch of baloney. - moviegenius
This movie is ridiculous. It was very bizarre, too. The film starts out in a warehouse and a monster comes. Then, the monster hunters are on a plane. Suddenly, Shaggy is on a bike and a girl with a deep voice is talking to him. Soon, the crew is riding in a bus when a little dog is being obnoxious and pees on Daphne. Then, the peeing dog in one scene turns into a giant and Rowan Atkinson's character dies. Sound confusing? Guess what? It's also not funny! Don't watch this movie... ever.
