Cube
Don't Look For A Reason... Look For A Way Out.
Six ordinary strangers awaken to find themselves in a seemingly endless maze of interlocking cubical chambers armed with lethal booby traps. Without food or water, they have only a few days to live. None of them knows how or why they've been imprisoned, but soon discover that each possesses a skill that could contribute to their escape. As they work together to extricate themselves from their claustrophobic cell, one thing becomes painfully clear--unless they learn to cooperate to solve the secrets of this deadly trap, none of them has very long to live.

In many ways, this is a predecessor to the Saw film franchise, particularly the premise of sticking seeming strangers into a life threatening situations while watchign from afar.
Gripping, scary, and intelligent, this movie appeals to all fans of the horror and suspense genres.
As previously stated by other reviewers, the acting is quite bad, which is unfortunate as there is a small cast and most of the movie is very character-driven.
It was good enough to spawn two sequels, so perhaps one day a bigger-budget remake could be done with decent actors.Premise fantastic. Acting poor. - Picker_of_Movies
The premise is very interesting. I was hooked right away. Similar to Saw but more mysterious.
The execution of the premise was solid and consistent right to the end of the film.
Acting is not so good. Was it poor actors or lack of rehearsal? I don't know. It is a little distracting at first but I enjoyed the premise so much the acting was forgiven.
I liked it so much I've zipped Cube 2.Excellent - Karl
One of the best psychological horror films I've seen in a long time. Yes it's low budget, yes it's actors are of the d-grade variety, but both rise to the occasion and are far more than the sum of their parts. Well worth a look if you love the genre. 4 out of 5 stars.
