Cube
Don't Look For A Reason... Look For A Way Out.
Six ordinary strangers awaken to find themselves in a seemingly endless maze of interlocking cubical chambers armed with lethal booby traps. Without food or water, they have only a few days to live. None of them knows how or why they've been imprisoned, but soon discover that each possesses a skill that could contribute to their escape. As they work together to extricate themselves from their claustrophobic cell, one thing becomes painfully clear--unless they learn to cooperate to solve the secrets of this deadly trap, none of them has very long to live.

Great concept, horrible acting! - KeithTalent
High concept, sci-fi thriller about a group of people that wake up trapped in a giant cube, made up of a bunch of rooms, many of which contain deadly booby traps. The concept is very cool and pretty believable overall, but the acting is horrendous, really terrible in some spots, and the dialogue is pretty dodgy as well. I was pretty hooked into this thing, but in certain parts the acting actually pulled me out of the film. Anyway, it is pretty cool if you like this sort of thing, but it had the potential to be spectacular and it just does not come together.AWESOME - Spuzz
One of the most inventive, startling and original movies to come from Canada, well, EVER, Cube just floored me from, of course, the first scene down to it's startling character development to it's intricate plot (theres math involved, but don't worry...(read more), It's not 'Pi') and has an equal amount of shocks in it to make this an amazing movie. I saw this first at a film festival in Vancouver, and me and the audience sure didn't expect what we witnessed. At the end, there was LOUD applause to be heard, I'm really glad this film got the attention that it so richly deserves, and makes me proud I'm Canadian.Remarkable... - Jimmy_Jam
... when you consider that the whole film was shot with one cube and just lighted differently. I was sure they would have had two or three - but it is seriously low budget. The special effects were done for free, and some of the acting is a little raw. But the premise is really haunting, and seems to have been ripped off by Saw - the torturing of people. There are some pretty squimish moments, and some very interesting ones, especially mathematically. Solid effort.
