Very Cute and Funny - LilyandMick
This movie was funny and cute.... Not only little romantic side, but funny part as well. I really loved how she acted and showed the mature side of romance. The storyline was very entertaining and fun to watch with lots of friends. It didn't end up being cheasy romantic movie. Not as good as Risky business but I still liked it. - Mano
I came across this movie reading some reviews about another film. Read the reviews here and got intrigued.
Well made movie. Nicely acted. I thought this will be very predictable. No, not really. Some nice twists and turns. Hirsch doesn't drown his father's Porsche as in Risky business.
RB's sex scenes were hot. Here there is frontal nudity of the other porn stars not Cuthbert's!!
Fun movie.Better than Risky Business - flickgirl
Has what most films today lack, a really solid script. The plot is clever and it keeps you guessing, the characters are not impossibly stupid, and the soundtrack is not just for teenagers. Best of all, the female protaganist, depsite the porn content, feels more respectfully portrayed as a woman than in most films. Funny to boot. And I have to respectfully disagree with one of my fellow reviewers. Although he was right that this owes a lot to Risky Business, it is much better. That was an anthem to 80s corporate greed. This is actually wholesome at heart. That pornified Rebecca DeMorney as every 80s teenage boys' sex fantasy. And despite the fact that the young female lead in this is boy-fantasy-worthy, the whole point of the film is the de-objectification of women. Unlike DeMorney's character who amps up her involvement in prostitution, this film's female leaves her porn days beheind her. The sex scene in this is quintessentially innocent, the classic "first". The sex scene in Risky Business is essentially kinky. But the fatal flaw is Risky Business takes itself way too seriously, like a teenage boy's libido, which excludes other viewers and is essentially self-pleasuring.
