Harlequin: Romance Series - A Change Of Place
Romance Films Filled With Emotion, Intrigue, and Passion
When troubled twin Domenique asks her bookish sister, Kimberly Jamison, to take her place for a month as a glamourous Paris model, Kimberly hesitates. Dominique is the flamboyant fashion plate for the world famous House of Duroche. How can she fool the high fashion elite or, more importantly, Duroche's eagle-eyed trouble-shooter, the imperious Philippe de Claremont? Wary of empty-headed glamour girls, Philippe's attitude is forced to shift when he senses a change in "Domenique." But someone is stealing Duroche designs and Philippe must stay alert. Suspicious that "Domenique" is the culprit, Philippe sets out to trap her, but soon finds himself out to steal her heart. Kimberly begins to fall in love with Philippe but the threat of discovery constantly forces her to hold back. Oddly enough, the more she is "herself," the deeper Philippe falls for her. Kimberly must ultimately risk exposing her sister's secret, or give up Philippe forever.

A Change Of Place is one of the best films in the harlequin series it has everything romance, danger and gorgeous scenery all around.
What I like best film is the chemistry between the two main characters - how an ordinary girl steps into a world of glamour, danger and intrigue and finds romance along the way.
This film is not an iconic dramatic masterpiece, and that is OK because it wasn't meant to be. It is a lovely way to spend a couple of hours. I highly recommend it.Entertaining. - fairweather
I found this title to be a good B movie. They tried very hard and the actors were attempting to make a good movie. The problem is, you could sense that in almost every scene. It was not possible to lose yourself in the storyline, but you were reminded that these are actors ACTING their parts almost all the time. It was an interesting plot and in book form would have had a greater appeal. I would rate it a three star for being a fairly good movie and not a total waste of time, but bumped it up to four stars because they try so hard from start to finish with great sets and the overly obvious efforts they are going to in order to make the movie work so that they make you wish to be generous.
