Monkey Trouble
He's Cute. He's Cuddly. He's A Klepto.
Are you ready for the cutest criminal pet of all time? He's Dodger, and although he's tiny, he manages to get into more trouble than a whole barrel full of... monkeys!
Dodger belongs to a crooked street performer (Harvey Keitel, The Piano) but escapes his life of crime only to end up in the arms of Eva (Thora Birch of Dungeons and Dragons and Now and Then), an innocent little girl whose mother (Mimi Rogers, Lost in Space) has no idea that her daughter is harboring a fugitive. Unfortunately, Dodger's naught habits get the best of him as his mischief plunges everyone he meets into major Monkey Trouble!

Not much can be said about Monkey Trouble other than that kids under ten might like it. Keitel has some funny moments for us adults but too few and far between to make it a rental if you are an adult without children. Unless you are the simple sort I guess. I got through a viewing with my children but I'm sure I will grow to loathe it by their fifth viewing.Quit monkeying around - movie_goer
Cute and cuddly. Thora birch is just as lovable like the monkey. When a con artist looses his monkey he find Birch as a new owner. The problem?
Her step dad is allergic and shes hiding the monkey the only other person who knows is her baby brother. As a trained theft monkey birch find stolen goods in her back pack and room, panicing the family smells her monkey troubles and is followed by the ex-violent monkey owner.
The end finds justice and resolves her trouble of wanting a pet and not having one. this is a remarkable childs movie.
