All of Me
Roger Cobb (Steve Martin) is a swinging bachelor who is a lawyer but would rather be a jazz musician. Edwina Cutwaters (Lily Tomlin) is an ailing spinster who is given a second chance at life given her soul can be "transported" into that of another woman-specifically, the beautiful daughter of the stable hand.
Unfortunately, the guru-in-charge goof, and Edwina's soul winds up taking over the entire right side of Roger, who now must learn to cope with being half the man he was.
Now Edwina and Roger are living together in the same body. He's losing his job. He's losing his girlfriend. And he just can't seem to get her out of his system. No matter how hard he tries.

‘All of Me’ is a good choice if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing feel-good couple of hours. Although it’s a romantic comedy, you’ve never seen one quite like this before. The chemistry between the two actors is great and Steve Martin‘s physical humour adds the right amount of laughs into of this film. Very funny and well worth the rental. This film gets extra marks for nicely tying things up where everybody gets what’s coming to them ;-)Light hearted fluff - solangef
This movie is a delightfully light hearted bit of fluff. As a friend says, "it is bubble gum for the mind". With names like Steve Martin and Lily Tomlin you know that it is going to be some far fetched spoof, and won't be disappointed on that account.
Steve Martin is his usual crazy kind of guy, and does well at having his body co-inhabited by Lily Tomlin. Their interaction is fun to watch and the whole thing is a nonsensical spoof that is has no value other than to entertain.
They must have had a blast filming this and that comes through when you watch it, making it even more pleasurable. If you need a bit of time escaping "the real world", then this might just fit the bill.Comic gem - Howie
This is really one of our favorites, we have seen it several times since it first came out and laugh out loud on each repetition. Steve Martin is just about perfect trying to play two people in his body; Lily Tomlin is the foil, a spoiled brat on the verge of death. Yes it is silly and the premise is slight but it is brilliant. The final dance scene when Martin and Tomlin dance to "All of Me" is lovely.
