With a bit more care, this could have been a really good film. Sandra Bullock did a reasonably well job considering she had not yet struck the "big time." She shows promise in this film, anyway, which is probably what landed her the break-out role in Speed. ...

With its exotic locales and peoples this film ,with some budget and script could have been worth watching. As it is we see a grainy low-budget attempt to send an environmental message.
