Trudeau: The Man, The Myth, The Movie
Trudeau explores fifteen turbulent years in the political and personal life of Pierre Elliott Trudeau, one of the most enigmatic and respected Prime Ministers in Canadian history. The drama opens in the late 1960s in the heady glow of Trudeaumania and closes with the high-stakes poker game leading to Canada's Constitutional Agreement of 1982.It focuses on a man who came to power almost reluctantly, an intellectual who had to learn to be a politician, paying a high personal and professional price for leading this country. Trudeau was a private man who lived a public life, a man who favoured reason over passion. Paradoxically, passion was the hallmark of his marriage, while his passionate commitment to individual rights as the cornerstone of democracy dominated his political agenda. This film explores his vision, which both inspired and frustrated Canadians.

Colm Feore shines as Trudeau - GoldenReel
Feore does a superb job of portraying Trudeau's reign in politics. I had learned all the events in school but to see his life in polictics in a film helped me understand his impact on Canadian politic's a bit more. Feore is stunning as an actor in this film and have never seen a film where he did not fully become his character. I had the pleasure of meeting him years ago and was able to express my enjoyment of his work.
