Some gore here, be warned. The first half was excellent, where the detectives search for clues and we learn about the storyline and the characters, all of whom are excellent. The second half devolved into a hunt for this psycho killer and showed too much gore which I fear will mean I need therapy now to forget what I saw.I liked it! - FodderMK
I admit, I am a big fan of really cheesy Lambert films, and this is one of my fave suspence movies. Very similar to Se7en in feeling and atmosphere, with some great realistic gory bits. I really like the story and the pace, and Lambert's character is quite charismatic (to those watching the movie, not to other characters in the film). The first time I watched this, I was distracted by something else for the first 10 or so minutes, but the film quirked my attention and I had to start over again. Recommended if you like creepy and gory serial killer films.
