Love Surfaces In The Strangest Places
A small fishing town is the last place hard-charging big city journalist Edith Iglauer wanted to look for a story-it's also the last place she thought she'd fall in love.
Assigned to follow rugged local fisherman John Daly for her story, Edith is tracking her toughest subject yet. Daly's distaste for cosmopolitan reporters is no secret and he makes it clear that he is not impressed with her sophisticated ways. However as the two spend more and more time together, sparks begin to fly. And when they must rely on each other in a dangerous accident at sea, they prove that sometimes, opposites really do attract.

Great romance - calenita
This is just a great movie. Big City Journalist Edith arrives in B.C. to do a story about the high cost of fish. When she meets a taciturn fisherman he begins to show her the real story is the decimation of the fishery. They clash quite a bit but after almost being lost at sea they begin to bond and fall in love, but that is not the end of the story. Just loved both the lead actors and how the story unfolds. Great film.
