101 Dalmatians
So many dogs. So little time.
Unleashing every ounce of Disney magic, 101 DALMATIANS thrilled audiences of all ages with fast-paced adventure and comedy-featuring Glenn Close as Cruella De Vil. Achieving new heights of hilarity, Disney's all-time classic puppy tale came to life as a worldwide box office sensation. In their small London flat, Dalmatians Pongo and Perdy, and their human "pets" Roger and Anita, are overjoyed by the arrival of 15 puppies. But when the spotted-fur-loving Ms. De Vil and her clumsy cohorts, Jasper and Horace, dognap the litter-along with every other Dalmatian pup in London- Pongo and Perdy must rally the town's animals to their rescue. The plan hurls them towards a thrilling climax filled with uproarious moments as the puppies attempt to outwit their captors and bring on a final showdown with Cruella!

After all, 1996's "101 Dalmatians" would require just more than a monkey's worth of spotted dogs, as well as a host of other animals. The film is reasonably efficient and combines enough fantasy and humor to hold one's interest.
As good of a live-action Cruella as we could expectTerrifyingly bad... - JtotheRoc
Jeez, why was this even made? Oh, right. Di$ney.
The CGI is terrible, the over-the-top slapstick is stupid and the character updates are unnecessary. Does he really have to be a video game designer?
The switching back and forth from real dogs to CGI dogs is distracting and the movie has one of the most invasive musical scores I've ever heard. There's not a scene in it that doesn't feature a giant symphonic recording telling you how to feel or react. It's spoonfed nonsense, plain and simple.
I don't usually dig talking animals, but part of the magic of this story is knowing what the dogs think. This film tosses that in favour of creating a bigger villain out of Cruella and, in the process, abandons the heart of the matter. It's too bad, as the original is a classic film. The Original is still the Best - Tigger28
Disney gets creative when they star Glenn Close as the evil villain in their classic film 101 Dalmatians. Choosing to bring a renowned cartoon to life is a tricky business and Disney did it satisfactorily. However, the original is still undoubtedly better and this one lacked some of the music made famous by its predecessor. This is an inoffensive film, but not nearly as memorable as the original.
