In A Land Of Mystery And Magic, A Wondrous Adventure Is About To Unfold.

Brooks Willings (David Keith), a daring American archaeologist, has staked his career and his family's future on a high-risk adventure. He's leading a trouble-plagued expedition in the Andes seeking a mysterious relic. His wife, Brenda (Nancy Allen), and his free-spirited daughter, Diana, have come from New York to visit. Bad timing. The local villagers blame Willings for their misfortunes, and the priest (John Rhys-Davies) in whose house he's staying, wants him out. As the mischievous Diana forms a friendship with a strange but wise magician, she discovers that the elusive artifact has ancient and mystical powers. Diana risks her life on a dangerous plan to help her father locate the artifact and protect the village as well.
