Wholly Moses!
The story of Herschel. He wanted to be Moses...but he didn't have the connections.
Discovered in a desert cave is an ancient document which casts new light on an old story. The infant Moses, as the story goes, was dispatched down the Nile and rescued by the Pharaoh’s daughter, But on the same morning, another child - Herschel - was also set afloat. Herschel just happened to sail past the princess with a helpful nudge from Moses. So the question is, who was truly God's Chosen? Moses or Herschel? Dudley Moore stars as the adult Herschel trying to find his place in the scheme of things. Also starring are Laraine Newman as Herschel's lusty bride, James Coco as his father and slave, and Richard Pryor as the wildly idiosyncratic Pharaoh.

Cute film, moderately funny - Ginger8
This was a cute film that had some stupid humour within it. It tells the story of Hershell who was meant to be drawn from the water by Pharoah's daughter but instead Moses pushes his ark away and Hershell is raised by Idol Makers. He is restless and goes off to find his own way after loosing his faith in his idols from being robbed. It's an amazing array of old comedy stars during the height of some of their careers however if your not into "carry on gang" type films you won't find this very amusing. My son, who's addicted to the Carry on films loved this film, it was great as far as I'm concerned but then I don't like stupid humour, he does.boo - wolf
I dont know what zip members are rating this so high it is at best a 1 and if I knew how I would put it at 0 read the critic reveiws and you will understand... I need 250 letters but there is nothing to say about this movie it sucked like very few others and I hope this has been enough typing cause it wasn`t worth it...
