Super Size Me
A Film of Epic Portions
In Super Size Me, filmmaker Morgan Spurlock unravels the American obesity epidemic by interviewing experts nation-wide and by subjecting himself to a "McDonalds Only" diet for thirty days straight. His Sundance award-winning feature is as entertaining as it is horrifying-diving into corporate responsibility, nutritional education, school lunch programs and how we, as a nation, are eating ourselves to death.

Super sized Documentary - movie_goer
For me Morgan Spurlock is insanely ingenious and ballsy to fight the an epidemic thats intoxicated the world. Also known as: 'Fast Food'.
Its no secret Americas biggest disease is Obesity, diabetes, heart related problems and Stroke. All of which can be associated with poor eating habits.
When Super Size Me was released people thought Morgan Spurlock was either off his medication or completely moronic. In either case it could be both and the fact that in Hollywood its a competitive rat race, Spurlock found his 15 minutes of fame. So why not eat junk food for a month, 3 times a day while stirring controversy with the biggest fast food chain in the world?!Drivel - horrorwitheyeballs
I watched this for my Grade 11 Media class when the movie was released on DVD.
Oh, thank goodness Morgan Bullshitlock was able to open my eyes to the obvious. He was eating/drinking two of fucking everything at every meal of the day- come on.
The only thing shocking about this movie is the amount of people who praise him for exposing McDonald's and other fast food corps. What a brilliant man for conducting an absolutely ABSURD experiment. hahaahah and his vegan girlfriend was a good laugh. It was almost like she was cast. -insert health-conscious vegan here- Lame.Interesting low budget documentary - slroc
Interesting low budget documentary. Although hardly a scientific study, the incredible impact of 1 month of solid McDonald's food as measured by medical professionals on this very healthy man's weight and internal organ health was pretty mind blowing. Definitely worth watching. I never eat McDonald's or any other fast food for that matter....watching this film reconfirms my aversion to the stuff.
