Inside Islam
A sweeping story of one of the word's great faiths...
It is the second largest of the world's great religions, and the fastest growing. Its name comes from the word for peace, yet to many Westerners it is synonymous with violence and terror.
Inside Islam lifts the veil of mystery surrounding a misunderstood faith. Trace its roots back to the Hebrew Bible and discover how the Five Pillars, the religion’s central tenets, help spread Islam to the far corners of the world. Find out what the Qu'Ran says about war, violence, and how these words have been co-opted by extremists. And hear from experts like Khaled Abou el Fadl (Speaking Gods Name), who debate the challenges facing Islam today, including a crisis of authority and deep divisions among many sects.
Illuminating, important, and objective, Inside Islam exposes the heart of a faith mired in controversy.

Well Written and narated. This documentary moves along quickly enough to keep your interest, but gives a good deal of information in the process.
Presents a well rounded view of Islam, this does not try to convert you nor does it vilify Muslim's. There were a couple of places I wish the producers had gone into more detail or depth, but overall a great documentary.worth watching - dangerousperson
This is a well made documentary. Unbiased, fair, factual and informative.
The History Channel does an excellent job at presenting an overview of an ancient religion at a fast pace keeping the viewer interested and informed.
This movie neither tries to glamorize, sympathize, or vilify the religion of Islam. In post 9/11 that is a hard quality to find in any movie.
