Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) return to Hogwarts for a third adventure-and-magic-filled year in this follow-up to the first two blockbusters. The trio may be growing up, but some things never change: Harry finds his life in danger yet again, this time in the form of escaped convict Sirius Black (Gary Oldman). He turns to sympathetic Professor Lupin (David Thewlis) for help -- but will it be enough?

very natural. Characters acted in a way that seemed very believable fore young teenagers. There were some very good lines and I was generally very impressed by this movie. It's obviously not as complete as the novel, but still very good. The director did a very good job at choosing which parts to keep and which ones to chuck.Good Movie - sampid
This is another must see for all fans of Harry Potter, but I would advise you to see the first two movies before you watch this installment. Sure, it may take a while to do, but it is really worth the wait!As always, the actors are very good. Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson are the perfect actors to portray Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermoine Granger. They capture the qualities in the characters that make them lovable. The adult actors like Alan Rickman, Robbie Coltrane are also perfectly cast as Hagrid and Professor Snape. Michael Gambon replaces Richard Harris as Hogwarts Headmaster Albus Dumbledore and does a wonderful job despite limited screen time.Harry Potter and the New Director - Angora
The third installment in the Harry Potter series starts with the bold premise that everyone who sees the film will already have read the book, and will be able to follow along with the story if given occasional signposts, rather than having the whole thing acted out scene for scene. If you’ve read the book, it’s a decision that works very well. If you haven’t read the book, it might be confusing.
That said, director Alfonso Cuarón and screenwriter Steve Kloves make the most of every scene, adding and deleting as necessary, and leaving room for interesting character beats. The end result is that the film feels more relaxed and less staged than the first two in the series, and that’s a good thing.
This film also marked the introduction of (wonderful) changes to the costuming and set design, that were carried forward in the next films, as well as Michael Gambon’s first appearance as Dumbledore. Gambon supplies a very different interpretation of Dumbledore from his predecessor, and it is delightful to watch.
All in all, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban breathes new life into the Harry Potter film franchise, and is both visually stunning, and very enjoyable to watch, although perhaps confusing for those who are unfamiliar with the story.
