Raising Helen
In Raising Helen, twenty-something Helen Harris (Kate Hudson) is living the life she always dreamed of. Her career at a top Manhattan modeling agency is on the rise, and she enjoys the city’s non-stop nightlife. But her carefree lifestyle comes to a halt when one phone call changes everything. Helen soon finds herself responsible for her sister’s children (Hayden Panettiere, Spencer Breslin, Abigail Breslin). The fun begins as Helen goes through the transformation from super hip to super mom. Along the way, Helen finds love in the most unusual place – with Dan Parker (John Corbett), the handsome young pastor of the kids’ new school. Helen realizes she has to make a choice between the life she’s always loved and the new loves of her life.

Great chic flick - maebers
Chills abound in Raising Helen, a macabre tale of three plucky orphans placed in the care of their loving but undead aunt. This movie pulls out all the stops to make Kate adorable, and only the hardhearted will be able to resist her self-deprecating charm and light-up-the-world smile.Hayden Panettiere - Fudgeflaps
She's about the only good thing this movie has going for it, although barely. Like the rest of the characters in the movie Audrey was uneven and underdeveloped.
The rest of the movie didn't fare much better, and it was too divided between comedy and drama. The mix just didn't work too well in this case, as it sometimes does.
I'd recommend it if you have nothing else to see, but that's about it.Charming - Blob
It is a charming enjoyable little film, despite its orphan theme it never gets heavy. Kate Hudson is her usual cute charming self. Worth watching more than once. Watchable from start to finish. Maybe not "great" but a more than good enough to kill the time before you die.
