To Walk With Lions
In the pridelands, there can only be one king.
More than 30 years after the Academy Award® triumph Born Free moved millions, To Walk With Lions brings you the dramatic continuation of George Adamson's fight to save Kenya's wildlife.
Together with his young assistant Tony Fitzjohn, Adamson battles to keep the animals on his game reserve "Kora" from dangerous poachers and deadly "shifta" warriors who are determined to destroy rhinos and elephants for their tusks, and lions for their rich pelts.
Academy Award® Nominee Richard Harris of Gladiator and Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone takes you to the wilds of Africa in an inspirational story about one man's magnificent crusade.

Good intentions, but could be better. - Lady_Olwen
Being a huge fan of Born Free, I was very curious about this tale of end of George Adamson’s life. I found it interesting and in many ways it is a counter point to or even continuation of Born Free. It was intriguing to see Adamson’s passion and love for his lions and how he passed that on to Tony Fitzjohn. Richard Harris is fabulous, as usual & his resemblance to the real George Adamson is spooky. The human treatment of the various wild animals (e.g. lions, elephants) is very distressing and is of course the very thing Adamson was fighting & trying to change. Despite all of this, I felt that there was something missing and as much as I admire what the film was trying to do; I have to admit that it lacked that entertainment spark.
