Has those Tarantino moments - swissguy
I liked this film. It was fun, quirky and just slightly twisted in the same way as Tarantino's more hands on movies are. The acting was good, the suspense was there, the cinematography was good and I found that I was never bored. I recommend this movie.Odd little movie but pleasant - Coconut_Willy
It would be quite difficult to categorize this film in one genre or another. It is generally considered a black comedy which might be right. It is certainly not a film that will make you laugh but the basic concept and the acting is quite funny for sure. The storyline here is good enough although a bit thin and is well developed into a full length feature. Where the plot may fall a bit short, the acting job nicely compensates. The cast is a nice mixture of familiar faces and unknowns, all doing a fine acting job with a good dialogue. I really enjoyed all of the characters. The sets and locations are very good, the soundtrack is excellent although a bit odd for this kind of movie and the camera work is appropriate. Overall, a pleasant movie. It is worth mentioning here that the DVD also contains a lot of extras that make this a very interesting rental.Love it or hate it - Chuck_Bytes
As far as I'm concerned, this is a good flick because of it's originality. Quentin found this school project at a film festival and invested into it. I thought it was a very fresh new idea. And that wonderful actress was the cab driver in Pulp Fiction. If you look at the extra features, you can see how much she changed from the original film made for the school project.
