Funny and delightful - Homogenik
Lightly funny film with dramatic undertones. Some very funny moments in an otherwise finely paced narrative with interesting characters. As in most Robert Lepage works, the subject matter surfaces through the juxtaposition of apparently very different topics. Here the subject is identity : its ambiguity in Quebec culture, represented by quebecois characters sort of lost in Japan while a political/terrorist crisis is happening at home.
