A reluctant bride to be is stalked by a serial killer who only kills brides and the people around them. While her friends get whacked one by one, a hard boiled renegade cop whose bride had been killed years before tries to hunt him down before it is too late. Meanwhile, the bride has to figure out if it is all in her imagination or not, aided by her ex-boyfriend.

According to director Armand Mastroianni and writer Scott Parker the film had numerous working titles throughout the production. Among them were Blood Wedding, Shriek, and The Uninvited. It was the studio that finally attached 'He Knows You're Alone' to the film after it tested well with audiences under that title.
The shooting of the film was done in a mere 15 days and the entire production process from writing to final cut of the film was done in six months.

He Knows Your Alone is the story of a serial killer who targets young brides. His latest obsession is Amy, a young woman who is to soon be married.
The movie is a definite rip-off of Halloween, from the stalking figure to the music. The killer is revealed within seconds of the movie, which adds no suspense or mystery to the film whatsoever. The killer targets brides, yet he also goes after pretty much everyone else in the film. Some characters are completely pointless as they are killed off shortly after being introduced. The lead, Amy, comes off as incredibly weak, considering there are parts in the movie where the killer is right behind her and she stops, giving him enough time to catch right up.
The main reason I wanted to watch this was for Tom Hanks, as this was one of his debut roles, but his role is so minute (less than 10 minutes), it wasn't even worth it.
The ending of the film mirrors the whole reason the killer started killing brides, yet it doesn't even involve him, which makes no sense.Poor Halloween rip-off - Mr._Monster
He Knows You're Alone holds a place in cinematic history, as it marks the first film appearance of Tom Hanks. Unfortunately, that really is the only merit the film holds. As Hanks does not play a large role, the viewer must endure the rest of the film, which is an unsuspenseful, goreless hour and a half, which features so many "homages" to Halloween, that it becomes comical after a while. Not recommended for anyone other than die-hard Hanks fans and obsessive slasher completists.
