Desperate For Love

Based on a true story, Christian Slater plays Cliff Petrie, a young social outcast in a small town. His depression and craving for the attention of a female friend leads him into a nightmare of violence and betrayal.

Cliff becomes infatuated with his neighbor and childhood friend, Lily Becker. She in turn begins to date his best friend, Alex Cutler (Brian Bloom). Alex only half-heartedly return's Lily's affections, causing Cliff to develop a jealous rage which not only destroys his future, but his best friend's life.
