Unspeakable
The life of a prison warden is never easy, but when they hold the fate of one of the most dangerous serial killers in American history in their hands, it takes a tough character to cope with the pressure. Dennis Hopper portrays the warden in this tense thriller, while Pavan Grover plays the crazed killer Jesse Mowatt. Mowatt is due to be executed under state law, but first psychologist Diana Purlow (Dina Meyer) wants to probe his mind. Hopper's warden is totally against the idea, but has no say in the matter. Disaster ensues when the execution of Mowatt goes horribly awry, resulting in the dangerous criminal escaping. The facts don't seem to add up, as Mowatt should have died in the electric chair, which leads to some probing, and fascinating, questions as to who he really is.

Hopper's character was ridiculous, in fact, all characters were ridiculous. Terrible dialogue, sporatic scenes. Movie ranks up there with biker boyz and bloodrayne, awful. I wish I could have the almost two hours of my life back, I could've watched paint dry or grass grow.Twisted, Really Twisted - mountainman1
Once again Dennis Hopper delivers in a standup performance that is next to impossible to beat. This film is one of the best stories that I've reviewed since becoming a member and one of the better ones to end off my membership with Zip.ca as many of the films I reviewed over the last month weren't worth my time much less my month's fee. Unlike so many other films this one is certainly not predictable with a surprise twist at the end that leaves viewers in suspense till the final credits begin rolling. For the sheer thrill ride that this movie delivers, I give it my highest rating ever.
