Stevenson Lowe has just moved into a fabulous brownstone with his girlfriend, Julia, who wants to get married. But all thoughts of proposing are quickly scared out of him by a couple of grouchy ghosts who have the marriage from hell. They are Max and Lily Gale, the original residents of his newly purchased brownstone who have no intention of leaving to make room for this new couple. When Julia decides she's waited long enough for a proposal, she leaves Stevenson and his crazy ghost stories. Will his afterlife houseguests be able to reunite our young lovers? True love gets a spirited test in this charming, offbeat romantic comedy starring James Spader and Academy Award Winners Michael Caine (The Cider House Rules), Maggie Smith (California Suite) and Marcia Gay Harden (Pollock).

This movie is probably a movie you'll never hear about but was fun to watch. The main character moves into a house still inhabited by the previous owners who are actually ghosts. The ghosts help the protagonist with his romantic problems and in the end solve their own! A good romantic movie to watch for a date night with your sweetie. Don't forget the popcorn!
