A good ending to a series - Poet
With this installment, they kind of saved the Death Wish series. The fourth one was just atrocious in all aspects. With this one, they didn't reinvent the well but the story was interesting, the acting was inspired and they didn't rely too much on easy crutches. Bronson found new innovative ways of delivering justice here and it made for an entertaining 90 minutes. One too many? NOPE! - mogilles
They could have made a death wish every 6 months and I would be happy, so I'm the wrong guy to ask. Death Wish 5 was certainly not as exciting as the original, but not any worse than any of the other sequels. The villain is very menacing as the par with any good Bronson flick. Bronson puts on a damn good show for being something like 70 years old during filming. He even does a pretty brisk run!
He still delivers the justice, no doubt!
