Death Game
Manning, a happily married and successful man,
discovers two seemingly sweet and angelic young girls on his doorstep. He invites them in out of the rain to use his telephone and like a fantasy come true; George is seduced by these two voluptuous young vixens. But in the tradition of "Fatal Attraction," the party's not over yet for "poor Georgy" who is now trapped in the clutches of two savage torturesses. Can George escape alive from this forty-eight hour hellish nightmare of kinky torment and brutal murder?

The story starts off reasonably well, a mans sexual fantasy with 2 young women which goes very wrong for him. But the plot gets less believable and weirder as it moves along. I remembered seeing this movie at the drive in and likely blamed that for the poor film quality. But in fact the production is quite poor, a very darkly lit and grainy film. According to Leonard Malton who gave it 1.5 stars, Sissy Spacek was a set decorator on this film.Cheap, Old, Dated - Big_J
I wasn't too impressed despite the other good reviews I've read for this one. It just seemed really dated and poorly done. I remained interested for the first half hour or so and then this one kind of lost me. It really seemed to be trying too hard to shock people while forgetting to tell a good story. I could've lived without seeing this one for sure..... as far as horror history goes it's worth checking out (sort of like Last House on the Left with more kink) but not for much more than that.Surprisingly Good - Nik-
Ever watch a movie, want to hate it, and find yourself loving it? Ever think, "There's no tension here!" and then notice you're sitting on the edge of your seat and not breathing?
This movie completely snuck up on me. Yeah, it's from the 70s -- so during a sex scene you actually get the "Wakka Chikkah" soundtrack. A lot of this flick is dated. And yet, somehow, it works. And isn't dated at all.
Picture "Thelma & Louise", only they're insane, evil, young girls who like killing people. And throw out all the feminism. And feel really uncomfortable for the entire film.
But by far, the very best part of the film is the ending. Because it makes absolutely no sense at all. I rewound, just to watch it. Then I forced a friend to watch it -- even though they hadn't seen the rest of the movie.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?" I asked, baffled.
"It is very weird," said my friend, not all that impressed.
Ah well. Definitely an odd little film.
