The world's most lethal biochemical weapon has been hijacked by a gang of terrorists and McNeil must get it back. Accused of being a double agent and of conspiring with the terrorists, McNeil discovers his squad is targeted for assassination. His only option is to expose the real mastermind and to do so, he must gamble with the deadliest virus known to man.

I disagree -it's worth a look - Isbn
Okay, this isn't high art. In fact, it's a cliché ridden, mess. BUT...
Okay, I have no idea how Steve Guttenberg survived as long as he did in Hollywood - I despised the Police Academy films and while Short Circuit was really cute - Guttenberg's performance wasn't one of the high points.
Still when I saw Airborne very late at night on the Movie Channel, I was stunned. Guttenberg missed his calling - he manages to provide a believable performance without cracking jokes, being a side man, or giggling.
Don't get me wrong - this film is bad; but anyone who can't stand Guttenberg should check it out, if only to see what might have been if he'd had less of a "play for laughs" sort of demeanour, and more of what Hollywood perceives as "Leading Man" looks.
Popcorn film; do a Steven Seagal marathon, and use this as a pallet cleanser.Avoid this like the plague - filthy_sanchez
Saw this abomnination on cable, do not waste the time and postage on this awful film. Guttenberg provides his worst performance ever, yes I too did not think anyone could suck more than he did in police academy 2. The director sands is a dolt who should be flogged for this. What are sean bean and colme feore doing in this? Someone had to have had pictures of them in a compromising situation involving a midget, because god knows why they signed on to a film with steve guttenberg, action star! I am sure if bean had a hammer and the time, he would smash each DVD that exists. Please, please do not in any circumstances watch this film.
