Hard Cash
Two of the World's Best Criminal Minds are on Opposite Sides of the Law.
Thomas (Christian Slater, Windtalkers) pulled off the perfect crime, he and his team of master thieves (Bukeem Woodbine, Caught Up), (Verne Troyer, Austin Powers 2 & 3), (Balthazar Getty, Shadow Hours) got away with millions. The problem is, it's all FBI marked money that dirty agent Mark Cornell (Val Kilmer, Red Planet) was trying to launder for himself. Now, Cornell's forcing him to mastermind one of the greatest heists in history. Failure is not an option if Thomas ever wants to see his family alive again.
High-speed car chases, heavy duty danger, great gunplay and Daryl Hannah (Dancing at the Blue Iguana) as the sexy criminal diversion.

If you watch this movie it will be 2 hours of your life that you'll never get back. Low budget and low effort from most of the actors. The plot has potential to be good but there's a sense that the idea was rushed and no real thought was given to the storyline other than to punch it out, film it fast and maybe make a few bucks.
Christian Slater tries to give this movie a solid main character, but he just doesn't have much to work with. Vern Troyer makes an appearance as an amusing sidekick thief - probably the only good thing about the film. Darryl Hannah is forgettable, and one gets the impression that the only reason Val Kilmer was in this movie was because he owed someone a favour. This usually talented character actor puts absolutely no effort into delivering his lines, and the character is just plain bizarre, and not in a good way.
This is one of the few movies that I would have happily shut off halfway through, but I stuck with it, hoping the ending would redeem it. Sadly, no. Don't waste your time with this one, folks. Your time would better be spent going to the dentist or watching paint dry.
