Session 9
Fear Is A Place.
It looms up out of the woods like a dormant beast. Grand, imposing… abandoned and deteriorating, the Danvers State Mental Hospital, closed down for 15 years is about to receive 5 new visitors.
Donning protective gear, the men of the Hazmat Elimination Co. venture into the eerily vast and vacant asylum that is filled with an evil and mysterious past. Rampant patient abuse, medieval medical procedure and rumors of demonic possession are some of the many dark secrets the hospital holds - but then so do each of the men.

I didn't like this film. I've seen it all before in better films. The big creepy building; The Shining. Dark and twisting passageways; The Descent. Mysterious force stalking the hapless victims; The Omen. In addition the plot itself was disjointed and became nonsensical. The ending too conveniently tied up the loose ends.
I think the other reviewers were caught up in the combination of creepy music and effective cinematography. Unfortunately the writer was not as talented.Really rather good - JuicyFruit
Session 9 isn't anything radically new, but what's really very good about it is that it doesn't rely on sudden shocks or gore and yet it manages to achieve a somewhat creepy, 'something's off' atmosphere while being in entirely bright daylight! It's the place and the little things that leave the imagination to fill in blanks and that always does better than the spoon-fed, hackneyed stuff most other films have on offer. Session 9 is spooky but in a sort of way that's difficult to put your finger on- and even the ending is good, which is super rare these days LOL I recommend it definitely.worth a look - BellaBare
A great suspenseful movie. Keeps you at the edge of the seat until the very end. The cast makes you feel like it’s a CSI reunion but you get over it.
I love scary movies and this did not disappoint. Its lack of shock value ( which is only good in theaters with surround sound) played perfectly with the creepy cinematography. Sometimes less is more. And in this movie it really is more.
What I liked about this movie is that it did give you a chance to figure things out; IF you pay attention. You were able to pay attention due to the less than obvious scare tactics.
All in all a great movie.
