Billy (Sean Hayes) is a photographer using an old-fashioned Polaroid to take his pictures. Out of a job and in a funk, he's pushed into putting together his dream photos. That's when he meets Gabriel (Brad Rowe) a cute young stud working in a cafe "pushing" coffee. As Billy prepares for his shoot, he invites Gabriel to model for him. The heart of the movie is Billy's attempts to discern Gabriel's sexuality.
This is a light movie with moving moments and some quirky characters. Sean Hayes could have played it 'over-the-top' but did an excellent job of keeping Billy a believeable character. It could have gone out of control but was written and directed well enough to be enjoyable and even worth a second look.Has It's Momments - moviebuffguy
Remember "Jack" from Will & Grace? This might have been his first major picture. It is a sweet little independant movie about the infamous kiss on the beach from the movie "From here to Eternity", with a gay twist. There are no Oscar peformacnes but it does have a good story line. It has some touching momments through out the movie. Not to mention the cute coffee boy!
