Trucks
U-Turn, U Die!
Stephen King's short story comes to life and technology turns evil as residents of a small town are held hostage by a convoy of driverless trucks.

A fun waste of time - Chucky
It has elements of Kings original short story by the same name. As unlikely as it seems, the idea of trucks becomming self aware, homicidally so, is just about as scary as you can get. The plot was thin but the acting was passible and he story wan't bad. My 2 beefs with this one was that there was no clear cut reason for what happened and three possabilities. A chemical spill, some interfereance from Area 51 and the comming of the Apocolypse. I would imagine that it would make little diference when a 10 ton bobtail is bearing down on its victim. My second beef was the ending. Whhen it comes o movies adapted from Kings work the endings just plain suck. The survivors are flown to safety in the nick of time by a helcopter which they assume was flown by one of their ragtag group that slipped away on a motercycle. They are high in the air when they descover that the chopper is sentiant and flying itself. "Just relax folks, the" recorded friendly voice says and they fly away. What happened there? I would really rather watch something else.
