The Twelve Kingdoms - Sea-Trixie
The Twelve Kingdoms brought a lot of though out of me. It should how someone so valubale to her parents, whulie doing nothing wrong, can do so much harm. This series I would reserve for the older youths due to all the death and killing involved...
The show itself was ok I guess but not something I would buy. There is too much repetition, as though the directer is lost himself and want to catch up and make sure everyone else in his audience has also understude. At the end of every chapter, there is an interlude. WHAT A WAST OF A EPISODE!!! The grapics are also not so grand but better than most.
All in all, I must say, once the story is moving, I am interested, but then it freezes, then you want to turn it off! I give this series a yellow light for, it's ok but come on:[ do something to keep us wanting to watch your show!!!
-Sea-Trixie Out!Engrossing - ceegee
I had problems with the first volume, especially Youko's wishy-washy character, but she grows so much through these episodes and her madness is explained, so that it becomes very believable. The journey to En, Youko's friendship with Rakushun and Sugimoto's jealous rivalry make this a very intriguing part of the story. I can't wait for volume 3!The soul-searching journey begins.... - Kim1
Continue from where it left off from Disc 1(episode 1-5), high school student Youki Nakajima has started her journey to country En without Asano and Sugimoto. Also, Keiki is nowhere in sight. Luckily a half-beast half-human Rakushun has offered his warm and kind help to Youki. As Youki's self conflicts and inner struggles intensified, will she succeed in finding her way back home?
The story focuses more on individual character development through carefully organized plot and a fantastic array of supporting characters. There's no doubt this is going to be a classic.
