The Death Machine is the ultimate killing unit. It tracks by sensing fear and destroys with its steel strength and razor teeth. Hayden Cale must wage a bloody battle with the force that has no mercy, no pity and no fear.

Hilariously bad! But oh so entertaining? - DeaditeSlayer
I was giddy as can be when I put Death Machine in my DVD player since there aren't many movies released that fall under the robot/machine subgenre of horror. What a got was a low budget and corny romp with a wacked out Brad Dourif. Don't get me wrong, I found the film to be funny but Death Machine misses one thing that make many films great: re-watch value. Death Machine is a low budget film that definitely shows in its special effects department and almost atrocious acting, but maybe I'm biased for liking this because of my love for said horror subgenre. It unfortunately loses points for me though since it is unlike my fav of this subgenre, Hardware (or its original and better name: M.A.R.K. 13) this movie is aimed for lovers of low budget cheesy flicks. Hardware is definitely more serious, grisly, and dark in comparison. Otherwise, if you're looking for a bloody, corny, bad acted low budget action/horror flick about a killer machine, well yeah, you get the idea.
