Far from my favourite film of this type - Moir
I think I felt this film (whose Chinese name was'Shaolinmen', which could be translated 'those from Shaolin') made me wonder if perhaps this is a genre of film I am not always really attuned to, despite my having enjoyed the 1978/9 film with Jackie Chan, 'Drunken Master' and enjoyed and appreciated very much what I thought the brilliant film with Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung, and Biao Yuen in the 1988 'Dragons Forever' (with Benny 'The Jet' playing one of the bad guys in it)..
I thought this film was ok but it is not something I felt that much enthusiasm for and unlike the two above mentioned films with Jackie Chan I mention, I would not especially recomnmend this one
The 1988 film 'Dragons Forever'['Fei long meng jiang' ] however I really thought was fantastic to see and would be tempted to purchase a copy if I could find one not too expensive.
