Rod Stewart and the Faces: The Final Concert
Vibrant, flamboyant, and energizing best describes Rod Stewart's performance during this special evening with The Faces, leaders in the "Mod-Pop" movement.

Rod Stewart and the Faces: The Final Concert - Strat9
Is there a fine line between slopy fun and slopy unprofessional? This concert walks a very thin line in that regard but from rumblings from the past I have heard that this is typical of the Faces. Perhaps it is becasue this was the last concert they played together before Rod left for crooner pastures. Ron Wood certainly shows why the Stones were quick to pick him up and make it official. Actually at the time he was playing with both bands but when Stewart left, Wood figured the time was right to make the commitment to Mick and Keef. You Wear It Well and the Maggie May sing-a-long are the highlights. I'm not a fan of sing-a longs but they might be your cup of tea.
