Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
Incredible animation and a story for all ages are expertly combined in this Old West epic. Matt Damon provides the narrative voice for Spirit, a mustang born in the wild and captured by brutal U.S. cavalry officers. Although he is eventually rescued by a Lakota Indian, Spirit never stops trying to get back home, along the way encountering good and bad experiences with human beings -- and love with a beautiful mare.

OK movie, the kid liked it - dtwhalen
I only gave 5 stars because my kid liked the movie so much. I thought it was quite unrealistic in the story line and alot of the scenes, as well as having too-human expressions on the horses. The only thing that saved it at all is the constant action.huge disappointment - leah
This movie doesn't offer anything to any child. My three year old loves animals, especially horses, and she didn't watch more than 5 minutes of this movie. The plot just repeats it self, he gets caught, gets loose, then all over again about two more times. It was a sad story, but i would never again rent this movie for myself or anyone especially a child.Wonderful animation - ladydoor
This movie was quite stunning, and I was especially impressed with the locamotive scene. The story is somewhat simple, but thats typical for a children's show. The horses don't speak, as such (which is a refreshing change), but are readily understood through sounds and body movement. Overall, nicely done.
