Flashback
In this action-comedy, uptight yuppie FBI agent John Buckner (Kiefer Sutherland) must escort ex-1960s hippie radical Huey Walker (Dennis Hopper) to prison -- but he finds that the old burnout is a little cagier than he'd counted on. Walker gets Buckner intoxicated and steals his ID, landing the agent in jail instead! Hopper and Sutherland lampoon the differences between the idealistic '60s and the money-grubbing '80s.

The soundtrack is filled with the best of the 60's and 70's. It's a quirky comedy. Kiefer Sutherland is great as an uptight FBI agent who's transformation is predictable but fun to watch. Dennis Hopper is amazing as always. He's a hippie who's been on the run from the FBI for almost twenty years due to a prank he committed in his youth. The chemistry between them is great. Look out for Carol Kane in a small but memorable role. If you want to just relaxe and watch a movie, this is the one for you.Flashback - CJG-
This film is light, fluffy, whimsical warm stuff. The ideas that drive it are cliched but that does not mean they are wrong. Watch if you have nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon or if you were once a hippy too. For a plot description look at the other comments.
