Neurotic single Los Angeleno Amy (Julie Davis) just had her self-help book -- about why women don't need men to feel fulfilled -- break onto the best-seller list. Things should be great! But she only half-believes her own advice, and things come to a head when she meets radio "shock jock" Matthew (Nick Chinlund). He's exactly the sort of man Amy warns her readers to stay away from -- so why is she attracted to him like a magnet to steel?
