Bonds of Love

Divorcee Rose Parks (Kelly McGillis) begins a friendship with a mentally disabled man, Robby Smith (Treat Williams), only to have the relationship gradually blossom into something much more significant. As their feelings intensify, Robby's family grows increasingly uneasy about the pairing, and their resistance escalates even further when Rose and Robby announce their plans to get married.
