A jug of wine... a loaf of bread... and one big storm.
Two strangers (Julie Andrews and James Garner) believe that fate has brought them together when they're trapped in a mountain cabin during a blizzard. Despite their obvious differences -- or perhaps because of them -- they are undeniably drawn to each other. But will it last beyond this one special night? Directed by Roger Young.

LOVED IT! - Whirlwind
James Garner and Julia Andrews were the best in this one. About taking 2nd chances in an older romance and in a marriage going through some difficulties with the characters playing Garner's daughter/son-in-law, it shows it really comes down to what's important. Really enjoyed this movie. Garner and Andrews have good chemistry together and have dcne a few films together in their careers. Children wouldn't really enjoy this one, but I'd see it again!One Special Night - Rocking_R
I really enjoyed this movie. James Garner and Julie are two of my favorite actors. It had comedy, it was serious and it had a love story. A movie without nudity and coarse language which is rare these days. I don't think this is a movie kids would enjoy, but definitely adults will. I would watch it again.
